ETUC Constitution
The ETUC Constitution lays down the mission and structure of the Confederation and the principal rules by which it conducts its business. The text consists of a Preamble and 33 Articles organised in four chapters: Membership, Institutions, Specific Trade Union Structures and Finances. The ETUC Congress may change the Constitution if amendments proposed by affiliates are approved by two-thirds of delegates. The existing ETUC Constitution was last amended by the 10th Congress, in Prague, May 2003.
